The Pakistan Institute of Food Safety (PIFS) is a forward-thinking education and service provider dedicated to improving the level of food safety knowledge and skills of food professionals. Our team of health & food professionals is dedicated to preventing many needless deaths caused by forborne diseases each year. Our team includes Physicians, Food Scientists, Microbiologists, Registered/Licensed Dietitians (RD/LD), Health Officers, Nurses, Adult Education Professionals (MA, Med), Executive Chefs, and Food Service Professionals etc. PIFS supports many industry and government agencies, which are working to reduce the forborne illness and promoting food safety practices.

History

Pakistan Institute of food safety was established as a food safety concern in 2017 by Mr. Muhammad Talha Siddiqui who dealt with the different levels of food safety trainings in various food sectors of South Asia at that time. This vision was further carried forward by the team and brought along distinct ideas whose application elevated the company to new heights and PIFS stepped into the food safety business development consultancy.

Fast forward to 2018, the first head office was setup by Mr. Muhammad Talha Siddiqui in Badar commercial society Karachi. The firm’s technical capabilities grew exponentially when Mr. Muhammad Talha Siddiqui acquire another office in mid of the city P.E.C.H.S Karachi which later on dedicated for the in-house training sessions. His expertise in the food sciences and sharia injected a new life into the company and provided a technical edge against competitors. Through the joint proficiency of the technical experts and the business acumen of our CEO, we continue to expand into newer markets and in innovative food safety solutions.
